The VCX Forum has published updated versions of two important Forum documents: the VCX Lab Authority (v4.0) and the VCX Sponsors Handbook (v3.9).
Both documents have been reviewed and updated to reflect the Forum’s current operating structure, recent Board discussions, and the practical needs of laboratories, sponsors, members, and prospective participants.
In addition, the Board has approved a 5% adjustment to the annual VCX membership fee. The revised fee supports the continued operation and development of VCX programmes, documentation, laboratory activities, and member services.
VCX Lab Authority
The updated VCX Lab Authority defines how laboratories participate in the VCX ecosystem and how testing responsibilities are managed within the Forum.
Version 3.9 improves the presentation of the laboratory framework, including the distinction between VCX Trusted Labs and VCX Forum Certified Labs, the handling of test results, publication responsibilities, data verification, and the relationship between laboratories and the Forum.
The revision also improves document structure, terminology, and consistency, making the document easier to use as a reference for future laboratory activities.
VCX Sponsors Handbook
The updated VCX Sponsors Handbook provides the current reference for organisations supporting the VCX Forum through sponsorship.
The new version clarifies the sponsorship structure, sponsor participation, declaration requirements, visibility within VCX activities, and the general conditions under which sponsorship benefits are provided.
The handbook has also been revised to improve readability and consistency with the Forum’s current communication and operational practices.
Membership Fee Revision
The annual VCX membership fee has been adjusted by 5% following Board approval.
This adjustment reflects the continued growth of Forum activities and helps support the work required to maintain VCX evaluation programmes, technical documentation, laboratory coordination, member support, and related administrative services.
Current Reference Documents
The latest versions of the VCX Lab Authority and VCX Sponsors Handbook are now available through the VCX website and replace the previous editions.
Members, laboratories, sponsors, and organisations interested in joining VCX are encouraged to download the updated documents and use them as the current reference for future VCX activities.
