VCX Labs

VCX Forum’s Lab Authority framework is designed to ensure trust, transparency, and repeatability of test results across labs.

Within this structure, VCX defines different lab types with clearly separated roles.

• A VCX-Forum In-House Lab (VFIHL) refers to any lab that can perform tests in accordance with VCX protocols. Such labs can be established by both members and non-members, and are not subject to VCX certification. As a result, data produced in these labs is not eligible for use in official VCX scores.

• A VCX-Forum Certified Lab (VFCL) is authorised to provide VCX testing services under defined VCX procedures and confidentiality constraints.

• A VCX-Forum Trusted Lab (VFTL) operates with full test-suite capability and holds independent authority to verify results, conduct audits, and support certification activities within the VCX framework.

This separation of roles is a fundamental design principle. It ensures that results are not only generated under compliant conditions but also independently verified before being accepted for publication.

The current list of certified labs is as follows, and available on the member list page.

WebCam:

• AMD Canada (VFCL)

• PAL Labs Taiwan (VFCL)

• Realtek Taiwan (VFCL)

• SurplusIT Taiwan (VFCL)

Only reports produced within the VCX lab framework and verified through the required process are eligible for publication on the VCX website.
