Welcoming SHIFT and Pal-lab, the first Independent lab-certified lab

I'm excited to share two great pieces of news from the VCX Forum.

First, I’d like to warmly welcome SHIFT as a new member of the VCX Forum. I look forward to seeing their contributions and active participation.

Second, I’m thrilled to announce that Pal-lab has been selected as the new VCX Forum Certified Lab(VFCL) under the VCX-Webcam 2023 specification after AMD — and even more exciting, PAL Lab has officially become the first "independent" test lab. This is a major milestone for the VCX community and a significant achievement for an independent lab, as only independent labs can become trusted labs.

PAL Acoustics successfully completed all three rigorous stages of the certification process:

• Lab Readiness

• Virtual Lab Audit

• Same-Device Data Matching

The Pal-Lab team submitted their final test batch, and the WebCam chair(Anthony L. Orchard) confirmed that their results closely align with those from the Intel VCX origin lab—meeting the final certification stage criteria.
Several other members are currently undergoing either the certification process or preparing to begin it. I’m looking forward to sharing more success stories in the near future.
