AMD Lab's VFCL (VCX Forum Certified Lab)

We are thrilled to announce that the AMD lab in Ontario has successfully completed the VFCL certification against the VCX-Webcam 2023 profile—becoming the first partner lab to achieve this milestone!


This certification follows a rigorous audit process, including an in-depth review of virtual lab findings and a comprehensive data validation effort. VCX Forum's latest audit confirms that AMD’s test device results align with those from the VCX-Webcam Origin lab at Intel, successfully passing the same-device data matching test. With the technical validation completed, VCX Forum's board officially approved the certification issuance on January 24th.


This success represents a significant step forward in ensuring robust, standardized webcam testing across the industry. As announced in the newsletter, with many other labs still undergoing matching processes and audits, we anticipate that even more members and labs will achieve certification this year.
